Mission Statement: Citizens Realizing Our Potential (C.R.O.P.), Inc. is a 501©3 Non-Profit Organization established to promote Historic Preservation and Cultural Enhancement in Marquand and surrounding communities through The Arts. Having established Homan Hall Performing Arts Center in 2006, and partnering with The Gallery, C.R.O.P. shall offer both visual and performing art segments, along with cultural fairs, festivals and other like-minded presentations with the sole purpose of enhancing the cultural experience for residents and visitors alike.
Meeting Information: Meetings are held quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at Homan Hall Performing Arts Center – 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public, but those wishing to present to the board must be represented on the meeting agenda by notifying the board secretary in advance.
Banquet Facility: Homan Hall Performing Arts Center is available to rent for Class Reunions, Family Reunions, Wedding Receptions, Specialty Parties, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Speakers Guild, Concerts, and more. Goals and Accomplishments: Over the past 20+ Years, C.R.O.P. has taken the lead in Historic Preservation, Community Betterment and Revitalization. The organization and its past and present leadership, have obtained many milestones, including the development of The Village of Marquand Historical Park, the establishment of Pioneer Days, (one of Madison County's most highly attended and celebrated Festivals), and the Restoration of the beautiful Homan Building & Homan Hall Perforing Arts Center.
